Hard: Objects that do not change their shape easily and are not easily broken are hard objects.
Insoluble: A substance is said to be insoluble when it does not dissolve in another substance. For example, oil doesn’t dissolve in water.
Lustre: Lustre is the property of the object to shine. Freshly cut metal surfaces reflect light that falls on their surface making them lustrous.
Material: Materials are matters that are required to make something. For example, clothes are made from fabric. Hence, fabric is the material required to make clothes.
Metals: Elements that have certain properties like lustre, ductility and good electrical conductivity are known as metals. Metals have many uses. For example, copper is used to make wires.
Opaque: Objects through which the other side is not visible are called as opaque objects. They do not allow light to pass through them, making it impossible to see through.
Rough: Objects having an uneven surface are called rough. Example: Sand paper
Soluble: Substances that dissolve in any other substance easily are soluble, like, sugar dissolves in water.
Translucent: Objects through which we can only see partially and the objects on the other side are not clearly visible, are known as translucent. Example: Oiled paper.
Transparent: Objects through which we can see clearly are known as transparent objects. Example: glass, air, etc.
