Question – Write seven consecutive composite numbers less than 100 so that there is no prime number between them.

Solution –

Composite numbers : Composite numbers  has more than two factors.

The seven consecutive composite numbers less than 100 so that there is no prime number between them, are as follows: 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96.

Factors of 90 are 1,2,3,5,6,9,10,12,15,18,30 and 45.

Factors of 91 are 1, 7, 13, 91.

Factors of 92 are  1, 2, 4, 23, 46, 92

Factors of 93 are 1, 3, 31 and 93

Factors of 94 are 1, 2, 47 and 94

Factors of 95 are 1, 5, 19 and 95

Factors of 96 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48 and 96

As we can clearly see that the numbers 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96. have more than two factors and are consecutive.
