Quadratic Equation Class 10 Maths, deals with various concepts which are as under:-
- Quadratic Equations
- Solution of a Quadratic Equation by Factorisation
- Solution of a Quadratic Equation by Completing the Square
- Nature of Root
1. Quadratic Equations
What is quadratic equations?
Quadratic equation is the equation in which the highest power of the variable is 2.
For example: +bx+c=0
Check whether following are quadratic equations:
Write a Quadratic equation from a Statement
A.The product of two consecutive positive integers is 210. We need to find the integers?
B.The area of a rectangle is 90. The length of the rectangle is 3 more than the twice of the breadth. We need to find the length and breadth of the rectangle?

4. Nature of roots of Quadratic Equation
The nature of roots depends on the value of -4ac
So if -4ac=0 then both the roots are real and equal.
If -4ac<0 then roots are not real.
If -4ac>0 then roots are distinct and real.
