Given: Runs Shekhar wishes to complete = 10,000

Runs Shekhar has scored so far = 6,980

To find :Runs required to achieve the target

Runs required to achieve the target = Runs Shekhar wishes to complete- Current runs

=10,000 – 6,980 =   3,020

Hence, Shekhar needs 3,020 more runs to complete 10,000 runs.
