Question – Write the successor of : (a) 2440701 (b) 100199 (c) 1099999 (d) 2345670
Solution –
The successor is a number that comes after the given numbers.
Or
In simple words, successor of a number can be obtained by adding 1Â to the number.
Accordingly the answer shall be as under :
(a) 2440701
Successor of 2440701 is 2440701 + 1 = 2440702
(b) 100199
Successor of 100199 is 100199 + 1 = 100200
(c) 1099999
Successor of 1099999 is 1099999 +1 = 1100000
(d) 2345670
Successor of 2345670 is 2345670 + 1 = 2345671
Hence, the successors of 2440701, 100199, 1099999, and 2345670 are 2440702, 100200, 1100000, and 2345671.
