Convert Decimal to Percent – Examples | Maths Grade 7

To convert decimal to Percent, we have to multiply the given decimal by 100 and put the Percentage sign to the answer (%).

Convert Decimal to Percent Examples

Example 1

Convert 0.78 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.78 = ( 0.78 x 100 ) % = 78 %

Hence, 0.78 = 78 %




Example 2

Convert 0.8 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.8 = ( 0.8 x 100 ) % = 80 %

Hence, 0.8 = 80 %

 

Example 3

Convert 0.31 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.31 = ( 0.31 x 100 ) % = 31 %

Hence, 0.31 = 31 %

 

Example 4

Convert 0.47 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.47 = ( 0.47 x 100 ) % = 47 %

Hence, 0.47 = 47 %

Convert 0.26 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.26 = ( 0.26 x 100 ) % = 26 %

Convert 0.65 into Percentage.

Explanation

Hence, 0.65 = 65 %

Convert 0.5 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.5 = ( 0.5 x 100 ) % = 50 %

Hence, 0.5 = 50 %




Example 8

Convert 0.55 into Percentage.

Explanation

0.55 = ( 0.55 x 100 ) % = 55 %

Hence, 0.55 = 55 %
