Consecutive Numbers

Consecutive numbers are numbers that follow each other in order from smallest to largest. Consecutive numbers  have  difference of 1 , between such  numbers.

In other words, we can say that consecutive number of any number is obtained by adding 1 to that number.

Question 1

Write the four consecutive numbers occurring just after 294.

Explanation : –

The next four consecutive numbers of 294 can be obtained by adding 1, 2, 3 and 4 to 294
that is,

294 + 1 = 295
294 + 2 = 296
294 + 3 = 297
294 + 4 = 298

Hence the four consecutive number occuring just after 294 are 295 , 296 , 297 and 298 respectively.




Question 2

Write the three consecutive numbers occurring just after 431.

Explanation : –

The next three consecutive number of 431 can be obtained by adding 1, 2 and 3 to 431
that is,
431 + 1 = 432
431 + 2 = 433
431 + 3 = 434
Hence the three consecutive number occurring just after 431 are 432, 433 and 434 respectively.
